« Analysing the process in musical creation » is a four-chapter web documentary written and directed by François-Xavier Féron and Benoît Martin as part of the MuTeC project (Musicology of contemporary composition techniques, 2009-2012) funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR) and coordinated by Nicolas Donin (Ircam, team Analyse des Pratiques Musicales).
Chapter 2 focuses on the Paul Sacher Foundation in Basel (Switzerland), where the work of some of the 20th century’s most important composers are archived.
